Charlize Theron has shared a close-up image of her surprise "Doctor Strange" character and also shared her name. The character was featured in the post-credit scenes of "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness."

The 46-year-old actress introduced her Marvel Cinematic Universe character as Clea. In a photo she shared on Twitter, the actress can be seen wearing a purple eye-makeup while looking straight into the camera.

The close-up photo didn't feature her purple costume that was shown in the post-credit scenes.

One Twitter user shared a post that featured Clea's look from the Marvel comics, alongside the newly dropped photo, comparing how accurately the film's production team has chosen the character.

"She looks exactly the same as Clea," another person replied.

"Your gonna be great but you were my first choice to play Captain Marvel! instead of somebody's 'wise' decision for that role lol love you Charlize," one fan commented.

In the Marvel comics, Clea is Doctor Strange's love interest and she comes from a different dimension. This character is also powered by magic, just like Doctor Strange.

This is the first solo movie based on Doctor Strange (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) since the first installment of "Doctor Strange" in 2016. The movie also stars Patrick Stewart, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

The movie was dropped last week in theaters.

Before the "Doctor Strange" sequel, the actress was seen in the movie "F9: The Fast Saga," which was dropped last June. Theron will be next seen in a Netflix movie, "The School for Good and Evil," which is slated to release this year.

The movie is helmed by Paul Feig, who shared the first look of the movie last year.

The flick is based on a six-part book series of the same name. Soman Chainani's book series revolves around a group of children who learn how to become fairytale-like heroes and villains.

Theron is currently filming "Fast X." The actress will also star in "The Old Guard 2" and "Atomic Blonde 2."
