Nobody, including actress Park Shin Hye, expected Korean TV drama “Doctors” to be the big hit it is.

“We were prepared for failure, and told ourselves not to be disappointed too much if the drama didn’t do well,” said Park Shin Hye’s agency, S.A.L.T Entertainment. But the action-and-romance-filled show is picking up viewers with each episode, making Park Shin Hye into an even bigger star.

She shared her weight loss and beauty secrets with The Kpop Herald: eating just two meals a day — only cabbage and cucumber when she gets hungry — and nothing at all after 6:00 in the evening. She works out regularly by cycling and modern dance class, and credits her lovely complexion to a broth of red bean and pumpkin.

Now her relationship with Lee Jong Suk is under a microscope, and so are her thoughts about her future dreams — including marriage.

“When I was younger I wanted to marry early, like at 23,” she has said. “Year by year I found things I wanted to do, and the thought of marriage disappeared. But I don't want to marry too late. Around 31? I want to marry after traveling alone, meeting many people and experiencing a variety of things, and when I'm certain I can be responsible of myself.”
