Donald Trump complimented his wife Melania after their son Barron was born.

The president is often criticized due to his ill remarks about women. Just recently, many felt that he bullied Greta Thunberg when he wrote on Twitter that the 16-year-old activist should work on her anger management problems. However, unknown to many, he actually has a sweet spot especially to his wife, Melania.

Kate Bennett recalled in her book, “Free Melania: The Unauthorized Biography,” that just 20 minutes after Barron was born, the POTUS wasn’t in scrubs but on the phone announcing the news of his fifth child.

“I continue to stay young, right?” Donald said while managing the birth of his son. “I produce children; I stay young.”

He also took a call from Regis Philbin on his live morning television program and left a sweet message for his wife.

“She gave me a nice son,” Donald said recognizing Melania’s effort.

There were a lot of rumors about Donald and Melania’s marriage. There were speculations that the first lady was held captive at the White House and that the FLOTUS was denouncing her husband. However, Donald Jr. denied those claims because according to him, Donald and Melania have always had a good relationship.

In fact, the POTUS knows how to ease the tension for his wife. Melania has been attacked by her and the POTUS’ critics for various reasons. According to Donald Jr., the backlash was not meant to hurt Melania but it was a way to get to the president because they could not break him.

Donald Jr. likened it to a movie plot where the villain realizes he can’t break the hero, so he turns his wrath on to the hero’s family. They knew that Donald can take the personal attacks against him, but he doesn’t like to see his wife hurt.

Also, when it comes to Melania’s end, she has been very supportive to her husband. In fact, two decades ago even before Donald run for president, the former model praised his leadership skills and said that he is “very smart” and will make an “amazing president.”
