Donald Trump recently gave a shocking explanation on why he called the deadly coronavirus “Chinese Virus.”

During this week’s conference, the POTUS was accused of being racist after he called the virus as such. On Tuesday, he said that he called it “China Virus” because it originated from the Southeast Asian country.

“I think it’s a very accurate term. China was putting out information that our military gave it to them. We have to call it where it came from, it came from China,” he said.

Political Flare journalist Nicole James accused the president of the United States of lying after he said that he has always taken the coronavirus seriously. However, this isn’t the case because the POTUS previously called it a hoax.

Trump also downplayed the seriousness of the virus for weeks before finally declaring a state of national emergency after the death toll reached 100 in the United States alone.

“By making necessary sacrifices, we can protect our people and protect our economy. We are looking at saving the maximum number of lives. Everything else will come back, lives do not come back. This is a pandemic. I have always viewed it as very serious,” he said.

Reporters then called out the POTUS for his repeated attacks against Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Gretchen Whitmer. However, Melania Trump’s husband didn’t show any remorse for what he said. In fact, he even proudly claimed that no one else will do what he has been doing better than him in terms of bipartisanship.

Unfortunately, his critics couldn’t disagree more.

“Ah, yes, the ‘they started it’ defense. Followed, presumably by ‘they were on my side of the seat’ and ‘mom, tell them to stop touching me,’” Twitter user @joshloughrey mocked Trump.

“This was his second admission that he’s vindictive,” Twitter user @GabareeSuzanne said.

“OK. So, unless he’s being praised, Trump considers it an attack. And more of his, ‘You’re making me hit you!’ Got it,” Twitter user @Odd_Longfellow said.
