Giuliana Rancic isn't hiding from her extreme weight loss. After issuing a statement about criticism over her figure, the “Fashion Police” and "E! News" host appeared on “The Dr. Oz Show” to discuss her health with the doctor, whose real name is Mehmet Oz.

"Trust me, I don't want to lose weight," Rancic 40, said on the show Wednesday, according to the Examiner. "I don't think it looks attractive. I think I used to be more attractive. But I'm doing the best I can."

In an interview with the "Today" show, the host said people tweeted her that she looked “anorexic” and needed to “eat a burger.” “I eat burgers. It's not working,” Rancic confessed.

Instead of eating one of America’s favorite foods, Rancic needs to put on weight a different way, according to Dr. Oz. "The advice is not to eat burgers, because then you'll just get fat," he told Us Weekly. "But the real advice -- I think she's heard, and we talked about it on the show -- is that she actually needs to put on some muscle mass."

Dr. Oz’s advice was the same advice given by Rancic’s personal doctor. But she was told to stay away from the treadmill, because that would make her lose even more weight, and to instead focus on weight training.

"I'm just trying to get some more definition, because I want a little bit of curve, I want to be sexy. And right now, it's killing me to look in the mirror,” she told Dr. Oz Wednesday. “I'm just not the girl I used to be."

Rancic experienced a drop in weight after she was diagnosed with cancer and prescribed the medicine Tamoxifen. “But it does cause you to lose some weight, plus she has a fast metabolism, plus she has scoliosis. All those things that make her look even thinner than she really is, but there's no question that she's too skinny,” Dr. Oz told Us Weekly.
