Although stars in Hollywood can often make full recoveries following an embarrassing moment, actress Drew Barrymore recently spoke out about a mortifying appearance on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.”

On Friday, Barrymore spoke with Cohen on her digital series “The Art of the Interview,” where the actress admitted that she regretted her behavior during her March 2018 appearance on his show in which she spoke about a wild night out with Courtney Love.

“It was on your show, and I drank too much, and I have never forgiven myself, nor will I ever forgive myself,” she told the “WWHL” host.

“I really want to apologize to you because I really -- I just, I will never let that happen again,” she continued.

During her embarrassing moment in 2018, Barrymore told Cohen and her “Santa Clarita Diet” co-star Timothy Olyphant about the time she and Love has an issue gaining backstage access at a venue in the ‘90s.

“Courtney and I were at the backstage of a Seattle club. We had just come from seeing Green Day. We were going in to see like a back play at a coffee house, and the bouncer said, ‘I’m sorry, you can’t come in. You don’t have a backstage pass,’” Barrymore recalled.

The “Blended” star then revealed that Love used her fame to get past the bouncer. “‘My face is a backstage pass,’” Love told the bouncer.

“And then swept him aside and just walked in, and I was still left there, standing. ‘I mean... kinda awesome,’” Barrymore revealed.

Although Barrymore expressed her regrets about being intoxicated on the show, Cohen reassured her that she wasn’t the first guest to have too much to drink on the show.

“You don’t need to apologize to me for being overserved on my show,” he said.

“I don’t even really have a totally clear memory of it. You’re in a great club of people,” he added.

During an episode of “WWHL,” Cohen typically asks his guests questions and play games over cocktails.
