Drew Barrymore, who invited Keanu Reeves on her talk show, "The Drew Barrymore Show" Tuesday, recalled her 16th birthday celebration when the actor took her for a motorcycle ride.

"Can I take it back to a memory that I have with you?" Barrymore asked Reeves, with whom she worked in the 1986 movie, "Babes in Toyland."

The 46-year-old actress recalled that she was at a club, celebrating her birthday and Reeves walked in. She also encouraged Reeves during the talk show to "add and change" anything she was missing.

"And you walked in and you grabbed my hand and you took me outside and you put me on your motorcycle and we drove at the warp speed of my life," she continued.

The "Charlie's Angels" star further recalled that she was such a free human being and used to love her life, at that time. "We went and you took me on the ride of my life. And I was so free, I was such a free human being," she recalled. "And it was just this moment where I just remember loving life and being so happy."

She noted how difficult it is for people to feel such happiness once they get older.

Reeves smiled and agreed with the actress, before adding, "Riding your bike is thrilling and there is a freedom to it."

Barrymore asked what makes the actor feel free and he replied, being on the sets and enjoying the process of filming.

"That sense of being free was play. It was fun," he added. "I love what happens after someone says 'Action!' The director or the first AD, sometimes… and then we begin. We're in the moment, it's fun, so I'm really grateful to earn a living and have a career."

Reeves' new movie, "The Matrix Resurrections" will mark the fourth installment of the “Matrix” franchise. The movie was released Wednesday in theaters as well as on the streaming platform, HBO Max.

The movie also stars Carrie-Anne Moss, Priyanka Chopra, Jessica Henwick, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Daniel Bernhardt while Lana Wachowski directed the movie.

The first installment of the franchise was dropped in 1999, while the second installment, "The Matrix Reloaded," was released in 2003. In the same year, the third installment, "The Matrix Revolutions," was also released.
