Another shocking elimination gripped the ballroom on Halloween Night of “Dancing With the Stars,” as Karamo and Jenna Johnson were knocked out of the competition. Now, as the competition continues to wind down to its end, things will get more intense than ever as the teams fight to do whatever they can to stay in the competition.

Despite massive improvement on Karamo’s part in recent weeks, he was voted out of the ABC competition when he and Kate Flannery, who has been near the top of the leader board during several points of the competition, landed in the bottom two. Following the shocking elimination of Sailor Brinkley-Cook a week prior, teams now know more than ever that they not only need to get the votes from the fans but that they need to get as high of scores as possible from the judges if they want some potential other wiggle room to avoid landing in the bottom.

Theoretically, based on their scores and general popularity, teams like Lauren Alaina and Gleb Savchenko, Ally Brooke ad Sasha Farber, Kel Mitchell and Witney Carson and James Van Der Beek and Emma Slater should expect to stick around for at least another week, the other remaining teams may not be as lucky.

Whether they may be at risk of elimination because of lack of viewer votes or low scores, these teams may be the most at risk of being eliminated.

When it comes to judges’ scores, things haven’t been going so well for “Bachelorette” Hannah Brown and her partner, Alan Bersten. After scoring at or near the top of the leaderboard for weeks, the pair have stumbled quite a bit, both because other teams have started to improve and surpass them, and because the judges have been finding more reasons to critique her. While she is only a few points shy of the leaders, every single point counts at this point of the competition, which could put her at risk.

However, it is also worth noting that she still also has a very strong built-in fan base that will likely continue pushing her through, so she may still be safe for another week.

Another team that likely will continue being safe, but could be at risk of the bottom two is Sean Spicer and Lindsay Arnold. His fans have been unquestionably pushing him through week after week since his scores haven’t improved as significantly as the other teams have. He even took a dip again with the judges during Halloween week, and with every point mattering, it may start to make a difference in his standing as time goes on. Still, since he has an incredibly loyal fan base which has kept him out of the dreaded position of Bottom Two thus far, he likely won’t be the one going home just yet.

Sadly, the team that could be forced to say their goodbyes might be Kate and her partner, Pasha Pashkov. The pair is only still in the competition because they were saved by Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman. If they wind up in a similar position again because they don’t have a strong group voting for them, then they may not have a chance to survive another week. In addition, while they have performed well over the season and been near or at the top a few times, they took a tumble with the judges in the last week—one that landed them second from the bottom on the judge's leaderboard. Their success has been a roller coaster, with some weeks finding them higher in scores and others lower. Sadly, an inability to keep themselves in a higher-ranking each week could also hurt them.

“Dancing With the Stars” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
