An offensive lineman for the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles has been indicted by a grand jury on rape charges in Ohio in connection to a 2019 incident.

According to an indictment announced Wednesday by the Ohio Attorney General's Office, Josh Sills, 25, is accused of raping a woman and holding her against her will on Dec. 5, 2019, in Guernsey County.

He allegedly forced a woman to perform oral sex on him for "approximately 20 minutes" in his truck at around 2 a.m. that day, TMZ reported, citing a Guernsey County Sheriff's Office report.

The unnamed woman told deputies with the sheriff's office that Sills had given her and her cousin a ride back to her cousin's home from a local cafe. The alleged victim said she had attended high school with Sills.

According to the documents, the alleged victim, who was 21 years old at the time, told authorities that as her cousin got out of the car, Sills allegedly grabbed her by the arm and pulled her back in.

The woman told police that her cousin "did not think anything of it and shut the door and walked into the house," the documents stated.

The woman alleged that Sills then began his sexual assault, attempting to kiss her before grabbing her by the neck and throwing her down on the seat. The alleged victim told authorities that Sills unbuttoned her pants and started groping her despite her telling him to stop.

Sills then allegedly sat up, grabbed her by the back of her neck and pulled her on top of him, telling her, "She was doing this and was not leaving until she did this," according to the woman.

After allegedly being forced to perform oral sex on him, the woman asked Sills if she could leave. After Sills allegedly told her "you will talk to me again," she got out of the truck and ran inside the house, the report said.

In the police report, authorities described the woman as having bruises on the back of her throat, her inner lip, her right ear and on the back of her left knee following the alleged assault. Police took pictures of her injuries.

Sills faces felony charges of rape and kidnapping, CNN reported, citing the indictment.

Sills is scheduled to appear in court in Ohio for a hearing in the case on Feb. 16, four days after the Eagles face the Kansas City Chiefs at the Super Bowl.

The NFL put Sills on the Commissioner Exempt List following the charges. He will not be allowed to practice, play in games or travel with the team until he is cleared of the allegations.

The Eagles said in a statement Wednesday afternoon, "The organization is aware of the legal matter involving Josh Sills. We have been in communication with the league office and are in the process of gathering more information. We have no further comment at this time."
