Mia Khalifa has apologized to Zara Larsson after accusing her of copying another singer in her new music video, "Love Me Land."

On Friday, the ex-porn star put Larsson on blast on social media for allegedly copying British singer Chater's performance. However, Khalifa has now taken to Twitter to issue an apology to the Swedish singer for her previous criticism.

“I apologize to @zaralarsson for being a bulldog of a friend and putting a talented woman down to uplift another talented woman. Your response to it all was more mature than I was,” Khalifa wrote, along with a heart emoji, on Saturday.

Larsson didn’t seem to have any hard feelings for Khalifa because the artist dropped a comment on the latter’s post accepting her apology.

“Thank you Mia,” Larsson commented, along with a heart emoji as well.

Several Twitter users showed their appreciation for Khalifa’s move to make a public apology to Larsson and acknowledge her mistake.

“Way to acknowledge your mistake.. and correct it,” @m_djuan wrote.

“Yeah I was so confused by your approach but I’m glad that you are apologizing, here’s to growth,” another commented, with clinking glasses emoji.

“What you did was so so so so wrong.. but Thank you for [sic] apologize! we Will not forget but we forgive STREAM LOVE ME LAND,” @eliiiiiin1 opined.

“And that's on growth period, thank you for apologizing,” @paula_lxrsson wrote.

To prove that she was really sorry for her actions, Khalifa also deleted her Instagram post slamming Larsson. The post included snippets from Larsson's and Chater's respective videos. Khalifa accused the Swedish singer of copying the latter’s moves from her 2018 “Hourglass” music video.

"Cheap. Lazy, Straight up copy. How are you not embarrassed to be this unoriginal?” she commented on Larsson’s "Love Me Land" music video clip.

However, she did not delete a tweet related to the issue.

Earlier, Larsson clapped back at Khalifa by sharing a netizen’s post using Khalifa’s words calling her “sad trash” and “unoriginal.” “Free promo! Mia generous queen,” Larsson wrote.

“Don’t be shy... Credit @AliChater and I might throw you a swipe up next time,” Khalifa wrote after retweeting Larsson’s post.

However, many social media users believe that Larsson doesn’t need to credit Chater because she did a similar video way back in 2013, years before Chater’s “Hourglass.”

“She doesn't need to credit anyone bc she made a video with the same concept 6 years ago,” one netizen commented.

“I love them both and it's actually embarrassing seeing comparisons over two dancing videos where one has a different art direction with a web and spiders and the other is just aesthetic lighting in a dark studio.. doing entirely too much for a quarantine music video,” @jusdaydreamin wrote, pointing out the differences between Larsson's and Chater’s videos.
