Facebook Down For Some: Global Problems Reported, Google Searches Spike

Faceboon is currently experiencing downtime for the second time in a month. The company has yet to make a statement on the outage, with fans taking to Twitter to vent their frsutrations about service downtime.

Global problems have been logged on DownDetector, and the site claims that problems have been experienced by users since 7.31am EDT. There has been a sudden spike in users searching Google for news about why the website may be down.

Reports on Twitter show Facebook is available for some, but many other reports are coming in that Facebook is not working. DownForEveryoneOrJustMe is reporting that Facebook is unavailable at the time of writing.
