KEY POINTS

  • The tenth movie of Fast series will explore "Captain America: Civil War"-like theme
  • Fan suggests it will be Han vs. Shaw
  • New trailer "Fast & Furious 9" has been released

“Fast & Furious 9” trailer dropped Saturday, Feb. 1, and fans are excited about the return of Han. He is not dead, and now anything is possible. Talking about possibilities, a fan theory points out that the tenth and the final installment of the franchise will explore crossover saga like “Captain America: Civil War” from Marvel Studios.

In “Captain America: Civil War,” due to friction between two superheroes, the Avengers split into two units headed by Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Captain America (Chris Evans). A fan named Shaun Wren took to Twitter to share a theory that “Fast & Furious 10” is likely to be based on Han (Sung Kang) going after Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), who was responsible for the former’s alleged death.

“The 10th Fast movie will be centered on Han getting revenge on Shaw. Hobbs won't allow it, Dom will say something about family. This leads to a Dom Fast family vs the Shaw's (Evans & Kirby return) ft Hobbs & Ryan Reynolds (bc bff) before teaming up to take on Eteon. #Fast9,” Wren wrote on Twitter.

“Fast & Furious 9” New Trailer Launched

Meanwhile, a new trailer for the upcoming “Fast & Furious 9” was launched, and it has everything that the Fast franchise stands for. From fast cars, rockets, weapons, twists, and of course, ‘familia,’ it is everything that a fan of the franchise wants. Moreover, it hints that Han is back in the team. The return of Han is the prime highlight of the trailer, clearly hyping the movie before it is released. John Cena’s character Jakob is Dom’s real brother. And they are up in arm against each other in this thrilling Fast Saga.

Returning cast in “Fast & Furious 9” includes Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, and Nathalie Emmanuel.
