The ladies of Fifth Harmony have been super busy promoting their individual projects which made fans think the group was headed for a break up. Despite all the split rumors, singer Normani Kordei revealed that she has no plans on leaving the group after signing a solo management deal and actually has every intention of continuing to perform alongside her bandmates.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 21-year-old revealed that she found humor in the ongoing break up rumors. “It’s funny because so many people were like, ‘5H is over! Oh my gosh! She’s leaving the group.’ And I'm just sitting in my bed laughing because so many things can be misconstrued and misread and just taken out of context,” she revealed.

Kordei insisted that she and the group are in a great place and she couldn’t fathom going off on her own at this point. “I’m like, no, I’m not leaving my group. I would never. We’re on such a high right now. We’re at our peak. It would be dumb at this point, and it’s not what I want to do with my heart and soul. That wasn’t even a thought,” she explained.

The “Down” singer went on to clarify what signing her solo management deal meant as opposed to the conclusions people jumped to about a potential break up. “All it is, is that I got my own manager to kind of help guide me with whatever it is that I want to do aside from the group. That’s all it is,” she stated.

While Kordei has also landed a solo magazine cover, both Lauren Jauregui and Dinah Jane Hansen have been featured on songs without the group and Ally Brooke Hernandez is reportedly also working on some solo music. Despite their activities outside of the group, Kordei insisted that the ladies are supportive of one another.

“It’s really special to have a group of women that are confident enough in ourselves that we can be confident in the next person... It’s just cool that we can all support each other, not because we’re forced to or we have to, but because we genuinely love each other and we’re happy,” she said.

“We know that we came into the group as individuals, so we allow each other that individual freedom, but still remembering that the group is [important].”

Although Camila Cabello chose to leave Fifth Harmony last December, for now, it looks like Harmonizers have nothing to worry about when it comes to the group breaking up.
