“The Flash” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg teased what fans can expect from the final five episodes of Season 3. The CW

Fans should expect some new recurring characters in the remaining five episodes of Season 3 of “The Flash.”

“We have a couple of recurring villains [and] one major recurring character,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed to Entertainment Weekly when asked about what viewers can expect from the final episodes of the installment.

While it’s unclear who those recurring villains are, the major recurring character mentioned by Kreisberg could be Tracy Brand, a character from the future which will be played by Anne Dudek in multiple episodes.

According to TVLine, Tracy is described as “a smorgasbord of quirky idiosyncrasies.” Concealing any hint of the greatness that people will celebrate her for in the future, Tracy will embark on a journey to discover the genius she’s destined to become one day. Dudek is set to make her debut appearance in Season 2, episode 20.

Meanwhile, in the same interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kreisberg made it clear that he and his fellow producers on CW’s DC TV universe have a plan on how they would end “The Flash,” “Arrow,” “Supergirl” and “Legends of Tomorrow” long before they started filming.

“It’s funny. Every year, around this time of year, I feel like there’s this speculation, no matter what show it is, that we don’t know what we’re doing,” Kreisberg said. “Maybe we don’t — but there is a plan. There’s always a plan on every one of these shows. We set stuff up throughout the years that’s going to be paid off.”

“Whether you enjoy it or not is something different,” the exec producer continued. “But we’re really excited about where we’re at, how these revelations are going to come [out] and how everything gets wrapped up by the end of the year.”

“The Flash” returns from its month-long hiatus with Season 3, episode 19, which airs on Tuesday, April 25 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
