Episode Recap

The previous seasons had more linear storylines but the fourth plate of “Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma” has taken a unique approach where it tries to shift between timelines. The most recent episode also revealed Megishima, the young ramen master, but so far, it has not revealed how he became a part of the Rebels. After showing the ongoing battle between Rindo and Megishima, the episode takes you back to the time when Soma was trying to convince the young ramen master to join their crusade.

Fourth Plate Episode 2 Spoilers

The second episode of “Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma” is scheduled to air on October 19 and is titled “The Strobe Shines.” In the manga, the African Ramen got the spiciness and flavor that Megishima wanted to achieve, but it was Rindo’s Alligator Meat Dish that reign supreme. In fact, in the manga, all the Rebels lost in the second round of Régiment de Cuisine.

The defeat of the Rebels in round 2 will definitely even the playing field, considering that they won the first round of the Régiment de Cuisine in the previous season of “Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma.” The fourth plate of “Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma” will have 25 episodes, which means it is going to be a long engagement with Soma, Erina, and the rest of the Rebels.
