Former Governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley is under fire after she accused the Popcorn Factory of poor customer service on Twitter.

On Monday, Haley took to Twitter to slam the company for failing to deliver her orders on time.

“Ok @PopcornFactory two messed up birthday orders missed delivery dates with no explanation. First time I gave you the benefit of the doubt. Second one tells me not to buy from you again. #DisappointedNephew,” she tweeted.

However, Twitter quickly lashed out at the former governor and defended the Popcorn Factory over her critical tweet.

One person slammed Haley for not being more considerate about how much the coronavirus pandemic has changed the way that businesses operate.

“Poor Nikki Haley...maybe their company is dealing with a pandemic? Maybe they’re working with a smaller workforce because companies across the country are crumbling? But please, tell us more about your hero in the White House,” the tweet read.

Another person added, “I employee 42 people and am missing 18 waiting for test results for a test the took 2 weeks ago. I have two in the hospital so obviously, my lead times are longer! This is one of the most entitled things I’ve seen in a while, sitting in her mansion attacking small business,” the individual wrote.

Meanwhile, one Twitter user suspected Haley used the tweet as an opportunity to subtlety criticize the United States Postal Service amid President Trump’s claims that mail-in-voting isn’t reliable.

“A former R Gov & UN Amb. Nikki Haley who preaches in these troubling time we must give small businesses that extra consideration attacks a small popcorn private biz with 4,000 followers with her 600K-plus followers over a delivery as GOP sabotage USPS to put out of biz,” the Twitter user wrote.

As of Monday afternoon, the Popcorn Factory has not publicly addressed Haley’s tweet criticizing the company.
