Former 'RHOC' Stars Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge Can’t Star On Another TV Show For This Reason

For those who thought they might see Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge on television after they left "The Real Housewives of Orange County" -- think again.

Even though the former reality TV stars didn't sign contracts to film for the Bravo show's upcoming Season 15, the contracts they signed previously have some major stipulations that apply for the whole year. Long story short, Tamra, 52, and Vicki, 57, aren't allowed to film other shows right now.

"Vicki and Tamra have a one-year non-compete clause in their contracts," an insider explained to Radar Online.

It's not a complete on-screen blackout for the ex "RHOC" ladies though. The source goes on to reveal that the two are allowed to appear on another show if they "get special permission" first.

Vicki and Tamra were the two "Housewives" who had been on the series the longest. Vicki was a full-time cast member since Season 1 but was demoted to the role of a friend for Season 14. She was not asked back to film the show's upcoming season.

Tamra, on the other hand, joined the "RHOC" cast for Season 3 and actually received a contract for Season 15 but declined due to the terms. In a Sirius XM radio interview, Bravo executive Andy Cohen confirmed the news.

"She [Tamra] told People magazine that we had offered her three episodes to come back and kind of wrap out her story. That is true. She didn’t want to do that," he explained.

As for the rest of the cast -- Emily Simpson, Shannon Beador, Gina Kirschenheiter, Kelly Dodd, and Braunwyn Windham-Burke -- they were all asked back for Season 15. The only question that remains is who are the ladies that will take Vicki and Tamra's place and hold an orange?

The network has yet to confirm anything but, of course, that hasn't stopped speculation. Here's are the rumored ladies to be joining the "RHOC" cast for Season 15.
