"Friends" fans now have another reason to rejoice as the recently held reunion special has earned four Emmy nominations.

The nominations were announced Tuesday and "Friends: The Reunion" received nominations for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), Outstanding Directing For A Variety Special, Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction For A Variety Special and Outstanding Production Design For A Variety Special.

HBO Max, where the reunion episode was released on May 27, announced the news on Twitter.

The cast members, including Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and Lisa Kudrow, also celebrated the news on social media.

Cox shared a behind-the-scenes reunion photo on her Instagram and wrote, "The one where we are incredibly grateful to the Academy for this honor and especially thankful for @mrbenwinston and his entire team for their outstanding achievement."

Aniston also took to Instagram to share a series of photos, including a selfie with her co-stars.

"Still basking in all the love from the #FriendsReunion. Thank you each and every one of you," she wrote. "Swipe for... The bazillionth selfie taken with the five of us... When two TOTALLY different worlds collide - @_schwim_'s face says it all ... The legend himself, our director of the first season, Papa James Burrows."

Kudrow posted a selfie with the show's producer, Ben Winston, and editor Guy Harding. She also shared the same group photo that Cox had posted.

"Congrats to @mrbenwinston and #friendsreunion for 4 Emmy nominations! Thank you academy!!" she said.

"Thank you Academy and congratulations to @mrbenwinston We’re all very grateful. It was so much fun. #friendsreunion," LeBlanc wrote.

Schwimmer shared Cox's post on his Instagram Story and acknowledged the nominations. Perry, who played Chandler Bing on the show, was the only one from the group of six friends to not post anything on social media regarding the celebration.

In the reunion special, many celebs, including BTS, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, David Beckham and Lady Gaga, made guest appearances. The special is streaming on HBO Max.
