Gal Gadot is one of the most gorgeous looking women out there and the way she trained for her character in the movie “Wonder Woman” was really special. Despite her busy schedule, she always tries her best to be in shape by eating what suits her body and now she has finally opened up about the secret to her flawless physique.

Speaking in an interview with InStyle, the 34-year-old actress revealed that the “super simple” Mediterranean diet helps her stay in shape and when she mixes it with the amount of training she goes through every day, the results are even better.

Gadot is all set to reprise the titular character in the upcoming movie “Wonder Woman 1984.” To prepare for the role, she went through grueling workout sessions and fitness regimen to stay true to the character. Also, she relied on her Israeli roots to ensure that her food maintained her desirable figure.

When asked what she did to maintain her physique, the star revealed that she followed the Mediterranean diet to keep herself fit and it is so easy that “anyone” can do it.

“I think we tend to make everything much more challenging and difficult than what it should be. But for me it is easy, I am from Israel so I follow a Mediterranean diet – it is super simple for anyone to do,” Gadot said.

The “Justice League” star further stated that she takes a huge percent of lean protein and a small number of good carbs from her diet. She loves to eat fish and salads with olive oil and lemon.

Gadot concluded by saying that her resolution in 2020 will be to have limited screen time since she wants to do things that make her “feel better” like spending time with her family.

“The most basic, simple things are the ones that keep me most happy and grounded,” Gadot said.

Featuring Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord, the “Wonder Woman 1984” villain, as well as Kristen Wiig in the role of the Cheetah and potential love interest to Diana, the sequel to Patty Jenkins’ 2017 hit will be another stepping stone for the actress, the director and the saga as a whole.

“Wonder Woman 1984” is set to hit theaters on July 5.
