“Batman: Arkham Knight” will be getting two new downloadable content (DLC) packs from Rocksteady on Tuesday: “GCPD Lockdown” and the “2008 Tumbler Pack”. “GCPD Lockdown” is a new story set after the events of the main game where players control Nightwing, while the "Tumbler" DLC lets players ride the tank-like vehicle from Christopher Nolan’s “Dark Knight” trilogy.

A number of thugs that work for The Penguin are planning to bust him out of jail and its up to Nightwing to stop them, especially now that Batman has disappeared. “GCPD Lockdown” is set after the events of the main game and can also be considered a follow up to the “Gunrunnner” side missions, Comic Book reported.

These set of missions had Batman and Nightwing working together to stop Penguin from selling guns to the roaming criminals of Gotham City. It was one of the lighter story missions in the game, especially with Nightwing’s one-liners that helped lift the mood.

The short playthrough that can be seen below shows off some of Nightwing’s stealth skills, as well as the gadgets that he’ll have with him. Nightwing will have access to Batman’s voice modulator, batarangs, explosive gel and more, though he’ll have fewer gadgets than his mentor.

While the length of the “GCPD Lockdown” campaign is unknown, there will be a decent mix of stealth and fights for Nightwing. Hopefully it leads to a boss fight against The Penguin.

It should be noted that Rocksteady is actually developing the “GCPD Lockdown” campaign, while the “Arkham Origins” team of Warner Bros. Montreal developed the short tales for Red Hood, Harley Quinn and Batgirl. Hopefully, this campaign is much lengthier than the aforementioned DLC stories, though nothing has been confirmed at this point.

Fans that purchased the “1989 Batmobile Pack” will know what to expect from the “2008 Tumbler Pack”. Players will be able to go around Gotham City with the Tumbler from the “Dark Knight” trilogy and even race around tracks that were inspired from Christopher Nolan’s “Dark Knight” films, according to Coming Soon.

Oddly enough, the “2008 Tumbler Pack” does not come with a “Dark Knight” costume from the film trilogy. This is a bit alarming, considering that the “1989 Batmobile Pack” came with a Michael Keaton Batman costume from the film.

The last remaining DLC pack for September is the original Batman costume from “Batman: Arkham Asylum”. Fans can get all of the game’s DLC by purchasing the $40 season pass.
