It will be an emotional day for the residents of Port Charles as they realize they have lost their way. On the Thursday, August 16 episode of “General Hospital,” Michael will be forced to confront the decision he and Nelle made as Carly reaches out to Josslyn.

“GH” spoilers reveal Stella (Vernee Watson) offers her condolences. As the social worker attempts to extend her sympathy following the loss of Michael (Chad Duell) and Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) baby, it appears she may also get Michael to actually deal with his grief.

In the promo for the ABC soap opera, Stella tells Michael that while he may not look like his father, he certainly acts like him. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Michael’s emotions get the best of him. In the previous episode, Carly (Laura Wright) told her son it was time to plan Jonah’s funeral and she offered to make the arrangements so he wouldn’t feel overwhelmed.

While his mother was trying to ease his pain, Stella will encourage Michael to face his grief, similar to how she pushed Sonny (Maurice Benard) to accept that there was nothing he could do about Mike’s (Max Gail) Alzheimer’s disease other than embrace it.

Michael was determined to take Nelle down and get her to confess to destroying his family. Even though he eventually got what he wanted, he lost his baby boy in the process.

Will Stella be able to convince Michael to properly mourn his son or will Michael let his grief take him to a dark place?

Elsewhere in the ABC promo video, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) tearfully asks Carly what is wrong with her. In the previous episode, Liz (Rebecca Herbst) told Carly that Cameron (William Lipton) was caught shoplifting and Josslyn was with him when it happened.

Although Carly didn’t believe Josslyn had anything to do with it, Mike later showed Sonny and Carly all the clothes he found in the back of his closet. After giving them a closer look, Carly realized the clothes still had the security tags on them.

“GH” spoilers reveal Josslyn apologizes to Sonny. Once Josslyn is confronted with the truth about her shoplifting habit, it appears she wants to make things right with Sonny. He has been having a hard time dealing with Mike’s disease, and Josslyn hiding her stolen items in his father’s room isn’t making the process any easier.

Will Josslyn ask Sonny for forgiveness for getting Mike mixed up in her shoplifting fiasco or is there something else she needs to apologize for?
