“General Hospital” fans won’t have to worry about scheduling their Thanksgiving celebration around new episodes of the soap opera.

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, “GH” fans will have to wait to see whether Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) have a perfect celebration and if Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) will be able to hide the truth about her baby.

Instead, fans who tune into the soap opera’s normal time slot will either be greeted with a rerun or a sports game.

On Thanksgiving Day, an episode of “General Hospital” that aired on Feb. 5 is scheduled to run on ABC. Viewers will be taken back to when Sonny (Maurice Benard) questions who he is and Chase (Josh Swickard) admits his feelings to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen).

Spoilers for the encore presentation reveal that Jax (Ingo Rademacher) defends Carly (Laura Wright), Anna (Finola Hughes) continues to piece together information on Peter (Wes Ramsey), and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) lays into Peter.

Meanwhile, fans that tune in on Friday will catch the end of an NHL game between the New York Rangers and Boston Bruins.

Luckily, fans will only have to wait a few days before new episodes of the ABC series return. When new episodes begin to air, viewers will rejoin the residents of PC as they continue their Thanksgiving celebration.

“General Hospital” spoilers reveal Portia (Brook Kerr) gathers friends for Thanksgiving dinner, Marshall (Robert Gossett) seeks out TJ (Tajh Bellow) at GH, and Sam and Dante receive news.

Elsewhere in Port Charles, Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Phyllis (Joyce Guy) make an admission to each other, and a squabble erupts at the Quartermaines’ residence.

New episodes of “General Hospital” are expected to resume on Monday, Nov. 29, at 3 p.m. EST on ABC.
