• The second character banner of "Genshin Impact" 1.4 launches on April 6
  • It is a Childe Tartaglia rerun banner
  • The new "Genshin Impact" character banner runs until April 27

With "Genshin Impact" update 1.5 anticipated to launch in a few weeks, fans are excited to learn more details about the upcoming patch. While the highly anticipated Inazuma region is not yet accessible in the next update, a new leak reveals when exactly should fans expect it. It also offers details on the launch of Dendro characters like Yaoyao and Baishu in the game.

Inazuma Region Release Date

The last time miHoYo unlocked a new region in "Genshin Impact" was in update 1.2 rolled out in December 2020. After Dragonspine, the Chinese gaming studio periodically releases new characters, events, weapons and features in the game. With a couple of character banner reruns, fans are looking forward to exploring new places.

Unfortunately, industry insider Wangsheng Funeral Parlor via DualShockers claimed that the Inazuma region might unlock either in update 1.6, 1.7, or 1.8. The release of the said region will apparently see the launch of characters like Kazuha and Yomiya, the report added. Earlier rumors suggested that miHoYo might make the Inazuma region accessible in update 1.6 by introducing a couple of islands. Eventually, devs would launch Inazuma City in "Genshin Impact" update 1.7.

Dendro Characters' Launch

Wangsheng Funeral Parlor also revealed that the release of Dendro characters is tied with Chasm. Thus, fans can expect characters like Baishu and Yaoyao to arrive in the game in update 2.0. Baishu is the first-ever five-star character that might be introduced in "Genshin Impact."

He is an NPC who made his appearances in Archon Quests Chapter 1 and Act 2. Yaoyao, on the other hand, could be another five-star Dendro character that might be featured in a character banner following Baishu. She is rumored to wield a Catalyst.

Childe Rerun

Starting April 6, "Genshin Impact" launches its second character banner rerun featuring Childe Tartagliaand a new four-star character Rosaria. Devs announced the new character banner on April 3 on its official Twitter account. Rosaria would be joined by other four-star characters like Fischl and Barbara. The Childe banner rerun will be available until April 27.
