George Clooney and his wife Amal Clooney's relationship is still going strong almost five years into their marriage. This might be because the couple still takes time to enjoy just being together despite having to juggle raising two kids and their busy careers.

George and Amal were recently spotted enjoying a romantic date night together earlier this week, while their twins, Alexander and Ella, both one, stayed at home. The Clooneys were photographed exiting the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood where they reportedly had dinner together, Daily Mail reported.

For their date, George wore a black shirt and sported a salt 'n' pepper stubble and hair, while the human rights lawyer was spotted in a black leather jacket. After their dinner, George was seen leading the way to the taxi in front of Amal.

Clooney and his wife have mostly kept their relationship lowkey since their wedding back in September 2014. However, they still make sure to express their love and affection for each other publicly, even in subtle ways.

In October 2018, George introduced himself as "Amal Clooney's husband" at the Variety’s Power of Women luncheon in Los Angeles. He joined several other speakers such as Natalie Portman and school shooting survivor and gun control activist Emma Gonzalez.

Last year, Amal also made sure to let her husband know just how much he is loved. When the actor received the American Film Institute Life (AFI) Achievement Award, Amal was among those who gave a special message in honor of Clooney at the event held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Amal praised George's "modesty," "incredible talent" and "character" during her speech. She also called him an "amazing husband and father."

"My love, what I have found with you is the great love that I always hoped existed. And seeing you with our children, Ella and Alexander, is the greatest joy in my life," she said (via E! News). "You fill our home with laughter and happiness and that's even before the children have worked out that ‘dada' is actually Batman, a talking fox, and friends with Mary Poppins."

Despite this, rumors fights and marital problems still plague the Clooneys. Last month, tabloids claimed that George and Amal were headed for divorce and were set to have a custody battle over their two children. However, as Gossip Cop pointed out, there is absolutely no truth to the claims.
