Things are going to get even more complicated between Bruce (David Mazouz) and Selina (Carmen Bicondova) in “Gotham” Season 4. FOX

Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) has gone on a downward spiral this Season 4 of “Gotham,” and has pushed everybody away from his life, including his lifelong friend, butler and ally - Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwee).

As for his on-again, off-again girlfriend, Selina Kyle (Carmen Bicondova), she certainly isn’t pleased to see Bruce become a self-entitled billionaire playboy.

“Selina cannot stand him. She is so confused. She knows it’s not really him. Selina knows Bruce is putting on this front, but she doesn’t understand why. She is disheartened when she sees him. Selina is looking at him like he’s crazy, because he is,” Bicondova told Comic Book Resources.

But despite this distaste of Bruce this season, Bicondova said that “he will always have a significant pull” on Selina, and they will always have a connection.

“Even if he is stubborn, Selina always has a way of getting through to him. I think that’s what makes their relationship so special,” she reflected. “She is the only one who can get through to him. Selina and Alfred can say the exact same thing, and Bruce will listen to her before he listens to Alfred. That will never change.”

Meanwhile, Bruce will soon realize the error of his ways as he attempts to reconnect with Alfred. The synopsis for the March 15 episode called, “A Dark Knight: Reunion,” which was shared by Comic Book, reveal that a couple of characters will cross paths with someone from their past.

“Ivy (guest star Peyton List) picks her next target, leading Gordon and Lucius back to an old friend, as Selina tries to take matters into her own hands. Sofia wants full control of Gotham and turns to Lee about the state of the Narrows. Meanwhile, Bruce tries to make amends with Alfred, and Nygma visits Arkham in the all-new ‘A Dark Knight: Reunion’ episode of ‘Gotham.’”

Ivy has been Selina’s friend from the beginning, but this new and darker Ivy is out to get everyone - including Selina.

“Gotham” Season 4 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
