Grace Vanderwaal performed the original song, “Beautiful Thing,” that she wrote for her older sister in “America’s Got Talent” Season 11.

On Tuesday night’s live show, Vanderwaal received praise from judges Simon Cowell, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel. Majority of the judges predicted big things for the 12-year-old singer/composer. Mandel, who gave Vanderwaal his golden buzzer during the audition round, shared that several music producers have been asking about the singer. Cowell said that Vanderwaal’s unique voice and style are what make her so memorable.

Prior to her performance, Vanderwaal shared that she’s been writing songs for a few years now. In fact, the first song she wrote was about her door. However, it was only recently that she started to share her work to her family and friends.

Until today, the “I Don’t Know My Name” singer still cannot believe how much her life has changed since she auditioned in “America’s Got Talent.” At present, her audition video has already received more than 16 million views on YouTube.

Meanwhile, Vanderwaal recently told Teen Vogue that she’s ready to negotiate with producers in the coming months or years. “Record labels and producers are not looking to change you, they are looking to make a star. And what they might think is a star may not be you. I would either politely negotiate until I can have a little bit of what they want and what I want. Or, I would just walk away and go to a different producer,” she said.

In other news, Vanderwaal will return to the Dolby Theater stage on Wednesday night for the results show. According to NBC, only seven of the 12 acts that performed will have a chance to head to the semifinals.

“America’s Got Talent” Season 11 airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
