'The Greatest Demon Lord' Episode 9 Live Stream: How To Watch Online, Spoilers

A mysterious baby appears before Ard, Ireena and Genie in "The Greatest Demon Lord is Reborn as a Typical Nobody" Episode 9. The new episode is titled "God Says."

On the way to the school trip, a baby claiming to be God appears in front of Ard, Genie and Ireena, according to the official synopsis of Episode 9. Then, three mysterious requests are sent to the ancient world where Valvatos is alive. Ard later encounters a woman who fights monsters in the wilderness.

In the last installment of "The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody" anime, Ard found out the school play was based on the battle of Avia Desa Veers.

It was the same battle Ard won with Sylphy's help. After winning the battle, Ard claimed the opponent's sword, Demise-Argis.

"The play serving as a main event for the festival is starting up. Ard is playing the role of the Demon Lord while Sylphy performs as the Evil God, making Ard suddenly recall his battle against said God," read the official synopsis of Episode 8, as per Crunchyroll. "At the time, Sylphy was struggling with a sense of inferiority and the feeling that Lydia didn't need her. Yet when Varvatos reveals Lydia's true feelings and gives Sylphy permission to fight freely, Sylphy pulls off something incredulous."

The cast of the anime includes Toshinari Fukamachi as Ard Meteor, Rie Takahashi as young Ard Meteor, Yuki Kaida as Lydia Beginsgate, Yui Ogura as Verda El Hazard, Wakana Maruoka as Ireena Litz de Olhyde, Takehito Koyasu as Alvarto Exex, Mie Sonozaki as Olivia vel Vine, Kohei Amasaki as Varvatos, Kenta Miyake as Lizer Bellphoenix, Hina Yomiya as Ginny Fin de Salvan and Ayaka Ohashi as Sylphy Marheaven.

The opening theme song of the anime is titled "Be My Friend!!!" and it is performed by Ayaka Ohashi. The closing theme, "Reincarnation," is by ChouChou.

"The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody" Episode 9 will air Wednesday. Fans can watch the episode online on Crunchyroll. It will stream in Japanese with English subtitles. The original creator of the series is Myōjin Katō.
