‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 12 Spoilers: Episode 3 Synopsis Released; Is Jo Hiding News She’s Pregnant?

"Grey's Anatomy" is teasing some big changes are in store for Alex (Justin Chambers) and his girlfriend Jo (Camilla Luddington) on episode 3 of Season 12. In a sneak-peek video of next week's episode, titled "I Choose You," Jo tells Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) she's been keeping a secret from Alex.

When Stephanie asks her friend when she found out, Jo simply replies, "This morning." Later, Jo is seen questioning Alex about whether he wants kids -- and his answer doesn't exactly make her happy.

So, is Jo pregnant? Will Alex be on diaper duty soon? Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until the episode airs Oct. 8 before they get the answers, but Luddington did reveal to Entertainment Weekly that her character and Alex are now at a point in their romance when "those big questions about your future start to be asked."

Luddington said: "Jo has questions about what they're doing. We're definitely going to see that."

The sneak peek also teased things could officially be over between April (Sarah Drew) and Jackson (Jesse Williams). In the video, April is desperate to fix their marriage, but Jackson isn't too eager to work things out with her and threatens to change the locks on their door when she leaves for work.

According to an official ABC synopsis for "I Choose You," fans can also expect to see Alex struggling to make a decision involving the lives of newborn twins, and Maggie (Kelly McCreary) questioning different life choices she's made after an ex-boyfriend invites her to his wedding.

"Grey's Anatomy" airs on ABC Thursday at 8 p.m. EDT. Check out the promo for Episode 3 below.
