Rockstar Games released on Nov 6, the PC port of “Red Dead Redemption 2.” The game is one of the highly anticipated titles from the game developer aside from “GTA 6.” While we have been hearing outrageous and crazy rumors surrounding the sixth iteration to the popular “Grand Theft Auto” series, Rockstar Games choose to stay silent.

But, if the latest rumors are true, “GTA 6” might be on its Alpha or Beta phase and could be well on its way. The speculations started when Rockstar Games India’s talent Acquisition Head Kiran Kumar posted a job ad on LinkedIn. The job advertisement is looking for game testers for Rockstar India.

The screening will be between Nov 16 and Nov 17 in Pune. Furthermore, the latest Rockstar Games’ job ad is recruiting game testers who have been playing Rockstar Games’ titles for a couple of years or more. “GTA 6” fans believe that this job ad is intended for game testers who will get their hands on the sixth iteration to the successful “GTA” series.

The Rockstar job ad also highlights that its India office is in charge of developing games such as “Red Dead Redemption” and “Grand Theft Auto.” Aside from the texts on the ad, another thing that triggered speculations among fans is the image that goes with it. One Reddit user pointed out that the image is clearly taken from one of the pages of “Grand Theft Auto” games.

While Rockstar Games has not yet made any comment regarding this latest claim, another Reddit user claim that the job ad is an indication that “GTA 6” could be in its alpha or beta phase for it to require game testers. While the job ad could be intended for another title, we cannot blame the fans for jumping into conclusions that it could be for “GTA 6.” Rockstar Games released its predecessor, “Grand Theft Auto V,” six years ago, and since then, the game developer has become silent on anything related to “GTA 6.”

Another speculation surrounding the release of “GTA 6” is that Rockstar Games is delaying its release so it could launch on the next generation gaming consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett.
