Popular cross-eyed opossum Heidi lives in a zoo in Leipzig, Germany. She became cross-eyed due to poor nutrition when she was a baby.
Opossums are the biggest order of marsupials in the Western Hemisphere. They are also usually called possums, though that term technically refers to Australian fauna of the suborder Phalangeriformes.
