It's still neck-and-neck, and if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's presidential candidate for 2020, she'd now be in a dead-heat with Donald Trump, according to a new Rasmussen poll.

This poll released Monday shows Clinton and Trump each receiving 45 percent of the vote. The "undecideds" will swing the race -- as independents did in 2016 -- but the relentless scandals gripping Trump might be enough to give Clinton both the popular vote and Electoral College vote in 2020.

Clinton won the popular vote in 2016 by 65,844,954 votes to 62,979,879. She lost the Electoral College (304 to 227) and, therefore, the presidency to Trump.

Hillary's now back in the public limelight to the delight of her fans and supporters, who remain convinced the United States won't be the mess it is if she were president. This time, Hillary's promoting her new book, “Gutsy Women," she authored along with her daughter, Chelsea.

Her appearance on PBS News Hours Tuesday would have been mostly about this book if Trump hadn't earlier mockingly tweeted, "I think that crooked Hillary Clinton should try to enter the race to try and steal it away from uber-left Elizabeth Warren. Only one condition: The crooked one must explain all of her high crimes and misdemeanors, including how and why she deleted 33,000 e-mails AFTER getting ‘C’ subpoena."

“Don’t tempt me. Do your job,” said Clinton in response, according to the New York Post.

This exchange set the tone for the PBS interview. Hillary declared during the interview she can beat Trump “again” if she decided to stage another run for the presidency.

“You know, it truly is remarkable how obsessed he remains with me," said Hillary.

"But this latest tweet is so typical of him. Nothing has been more examined and looked at than my emails. We all know that. So he’s either lying or delusional, or both."

She further added, “There was no subpoena, as he says in a tweet this morning. So maybe there does need to be a rematch. Obviously, I can beat him again,” before hinting she was making the comment in jest.

Hillary totally supports the Democrats' impeachment inquiry into Trump's illegal efforts to strong arm Ukraine into digging-up dirt on former vice-president Joe Biden in return for Trump releasing $250 million in military aid for that country he withheld.
