Home Depot (HD) has teamed up with the retail juggernaut Walmart to deliver its home improvement supplies to homes across the U.S.

Using Walmart’s GoLocal service, Home Depot will offer same-day or next-day delivery on a variety of products to select markets in the coming weeks with a goal of providing the delivery service to 90% of the U.S. population.

Home Depot said it expects to expand the delivery offering to multiple markets across the U.S. by the end of the year. The two companies’ spokespeople told CNBC that Home Depot deliveries will start at select stores in New Mexico, Texas, and Arkansas.

Products eligible for delivery include tools, fasteners, paint, and other supplies that will easily fit in a car. Products will have the option for delivery enabled during online checkout, Home Depot said.

Home Depot is the first company to partner with Walmart for its GoLocal delivery business venture, which it launched in August as a third-party delivery platform. About 90% of Americans live within 10 miles of a Walmart store, Walmart has previously said.

Home Depot also offers in-store pickup of online orders as well as curbside and locker pickup at its 2,300 stores. It also has scheduled delivery directly to homes or job sites.

The home improvement retailer said it grew its e-commerce sales by 86% in fiscal 2020 over a year earlier.

As of Wednesday at 9:36 a.m. EST, shares of Home Depot were trading at $329.47, down $0.01.
