Ubisoft is all set to launch its "For Honor" game. The game will release on Feb. 14, but the company has initiated an open beta program, which will let players try most of the game’s functionality for free between Feb. 9 and Feb. 12.

The open beta version is available on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and gives players access to nine of the game’s 12 heroes and four of its five modes, including Elimination, Dominion, Brawl and Duel, along with six maps.

Previously, the company had run a closed beta of the game from Jan. 26 to Jan. 29. Ubisoft listed the changes made to the game in response to the closed beta in its official changelog Thursday. These include automatic start-up of the next match during a rematch once all players are ready in the PC version of the game.

Bugs related to the game and matchmaking requests were also fixed while geo-localization of players was improved.

You can use the following links to download the game for your respective gaming system:

PlayStation 4

Xbox One

Steam on PC

To get started, you simply need to download and install the game. Unlike the beta version of some other games, "For Honor" does not require you to register your credit card first.

The game can be played in both one-on-one mode and in teams of twos, but to play the online multiplayer mode on PlayStation 4, you will need to have PlayStation Plus membership. On Xbox One, you can simply install the game and enjoy multiplayer gaming for up to eight players.

If you are not interested in battling with humans, the game also allows for a one-on-one battle with AI-controlled bots, which fight in response to your battle skills and, therefore, you will have to keep evolving and improving your fighting skills.
