Hasbro has announced a new wave of G.I. Joe Retro Collection figures and vehicles, which include the Cobra F.A.N.G. helicopter, Roadblock, Destro, and Scarlett.

Although the line is inspired by the 3 3/4” G.I. Joe action figure line from the 80s and will include retro packaging and accessories, it will differ from the original.

The new collection will follow in the footsteps of the Vintage G1 Transformers line, which typically releases classic 1980s Transformers designs in retro packaging, along with figurines crafted using the same molds and dyes as the originals.

When the collection hits the market, consumers can expect the Cobra Infantry Trooper to come with a rifle as well as a new web gear attachment system.

The figurines are expected to cost $12.99 each and are scheduled to be released on Dec. 1, 2020. The Cobra F.A.N.G. will be priced at $24.99 and is expected to become available in January 2021.

Meanwhile, Scarlett, Roadblock, and Destro are expected to be available for preorder starting Saturday evening at select retailers.

The announcement was made as a part of Hasbro’s first PulseCon virtual event, which began on Friday and will end on Saturday. Along with announcing the G.I. Joe Retro Collection, the toymaker also revealed details about plans for Marvel, Transformers, Star Wars, Power Rangers, and Ghostbusters.
