Camilla Parker Bowles might have given Meghan Markle a nod during her recent tour in Cornwall with Prince Charles.

While there, the Duchess of Cornwall picked a vegan cake that might have been inspired by the Duchess of Sussex. Prince Harry’s wife is reportedly vegan. During a previous interview, Markle said that whenever she’s filming, she tends to be very conscious of what she eats.

“I try to eat vegan during the week and then have a little bit more flexibility with what I dig into on the weekends,” she said.

There are rumors suggesting that Markle wants to raise her son, Archie, on the cruelty-free diet, but Queen Elizabeth II may not approve of it. A source told The Sun that the Duchess of Sussex has been pushing her boundaries with the royals and it’s not being well-received especially by Her Majesty.

However, it is unclear why exactly the monarch may not want her great-grandson to be raised as a vegan.

Meanwhile, Camilla and Prince Charles spent three days in Cornwall and Devon for their annual outing. While there, the royal couple enjoyed treats from various local businesses, including the Cornish pastry.

Sally Jenkin, joint owner of Flajackery with Carol Myott, shared details about her meeting with the royals.

“They were very excited and chose three to take away with them, our best-selling millionaire flapjacks, one of our new vegan recipes and one of our iconic Bakewell flapjacks,” she said.

During the first day of their tour, Camilla tried some vanilla ice cream while Prince Charles opted to sip a glass of rum. The next day, they visited a bakery and received some baking lessons from a local baker named Toby.

US Weekly uploaded a photo of the Duchess of Cornwall eating a spoonful of vanilla ice cream. In the snap, the royal’s mouth is wide open as she tries to finish the entire cup.

Prince Charles was also photographed smiling from ear to ear while staring at his glass of alcohol.
