Happy Blonde Brownie day! In order to properly celebrate this delicious holiday, you will need all the brownies you can eat. Luckily, there are several recipes out there that can let you have some fun and make your own versions of this delectable treat.

The Best Blondie Recipe (compliments of Sugar Spun Run)

What You Need:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 ½ cup brown sugar, tightly packed
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs and 1 egg yolk, room temperature preferred
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

To make, preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a 13x9 pan with parchment paper. Combine the melted butter and sugar in a large bowl and stir well. Add the eggs, egg yolk and vanilla extract and stir until completely combined. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder and salt. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into wet until completely combined. Fold in white chocolate chips and nuts, if using.

Spread blondie batter into prepared pan and transfer to oven. Bake on 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few fudgy crumbs. Allow to cool before cutting and enjoying.

Blonde Brownie Recipe (compliments of Cooking With Karli)

What You Need:

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ cup add-ins (like chocolate chips), optional

To make, preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9x13 pan with tin foil, spray with nonstick spray. Set aside.

Combine the melted butter and brown sugar in a medium-sized bowl. Add in the eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Add in the salt, baking powder and flour. Mix until just combined. Stir in any add-ins you like.

Pour the batter into the prepared 9x13 pan. Spread to cover the bottom of the pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until barely golden brown. Do not overbake. Remove from the oven, cool completely. Pull the blondies out of the pan using the aluminum foil once completely cool. Slice and serve.

M&M Blonde Brownie (compliments of Inside Bru Crew Life)

What You Need:

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 ½ cups M&M candies, divided

To make, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick spray.

Beat the butter and brown sugar until creamy. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat again. Stir together the salt, baking powder, and flour. Slowly beat unto the butter mixture. Stir in 1 cup of the M&M Candies by hand.

Spread the batter in the prepared dish. Sprinkle the top with the extra ½ cup candies. Bake for 22-25 minutes. Let the cookie bars cool completely before cutting into squares. Makes 24 bars. Store in a sealed container.
