Queen Elizabeth II may be happy and contented with her royal life due in part to the late Princess Diana.

On the online forum site Quora, royal fans discussed whether or not they think Her Majesty is a happy person who is content with her life and everything that she has achieved.

Jade Worthington, a social worker by profession, said that this may be the case because the Queen seems to have realistic expectations in her life. She also seems to enjoy the positive but she is able to endure the negatives.

The royal fan also thinks that the monarch is quite proud of her reign. She has been one of the best Heads of State, and she has also moved with the times. The Queen has also been very sensitive to cultural and social changes throughout the Commonwealth especially after the Empire dwindled.

“I am a Diana fan and as much as Charles’ behavior brought the monarchy to its knees for a time, I think Elizabeth did embrace the positive qualities of Diana that ensure the Monarchy would remain relevant and extremely proud for future generations… If Charles had not married Diana, the monarchy would be dull as a broken lightbulb,” she said.

Sallie Smythe, an avid reader of royal biographies, said that she thinks that Queen is happy and contented with her life especially at the age of 93. Her Majesty has also gone through the ups and downs of life, and she has also maintained peaceful relationships with her loved ones.

“While the job has always been her priority, she has derived great personal happiness from the husband, her family, her horses, and her beloved dogs. She appears to live a comfortable, rather frugal lifestyle, happily keeping warm by a 2-bar electric heater,” she said.

Eric Dodd, who worked as a marine photographer, said that the Queen seems contented with her life because she’s able to fulfill her destiny.
