Hulu’s new partnership with Disney is adding a ton of family movies to the streaming service. Disney

Hulu and Disney have a deal that gets the subscription video service exclusive streaming rights to Disney movies like Pocahontas, Mulan and The Nightmare Before Christmas. In the next few months, Hulu subscription members will also be able to stream additional Disney movies like Con Air, Step Up, The Princess and the Frog and Lilo & Stitch.

Hulu and Disney’s partnership is focused on family movies, though you’ll be able to find some drama and thrillers in the list. Altogether, the deal will have more than 50 movies. It’s also important to note that none of the movies being added to Hulu are new.

Financial terms of the deal haven’t been disclosed. Disney owns 30 percent of Hulu, Comcast, News Corp and Time Warner.

In addition to adding more movies to its catalog, Hulu is planning to launch a TV streaming service with live content from networks like Fox, ABC, ESPN, FX and more. Hulu has not announced the pricing for the live TV service — nor has it announced which channels will actually be offered.

“We’re building a service that offers subscribers the most sought-after programming on television — and channels from 21st Century Fox and The Walt Disney Company are essential to that mix,” Hulu CEO Mike Hopkins said in a press release. “With these two new deals in place, and additional partners to come, Hulu will soon give TV fans of all ages live and on-demand access to their favorite programs in a whole new, more flexible, highly personalized way.”
