TaiG jailbreak tool v2.1.3 is the new upgraded tool from the Chinese jailbreaking team that supports installation of Cydia apps. Currently, the jailbreak tool v2.1.3 is only compatible with Windows PC. On Mac OS X PCs, people can use the same tool through virtualization through a Windows Virtual Machine system.

Apple will be releasing the iOS 8.4 update on June 30. Now that iOS 8.3 is jailbreakable, users may be unable to decide whether to jailbreak iOS 8.3 or install the new iOS 8.4 update. Here are some factors on why users should not perform iOS 8.3 jailbreak:

Poor Performance

iOS 8.3 jailbreak allows users to enjoy Cydia apps on iPhone and iPad. However, since iOS 8.3 jailbreak modifies the operating system, the performance of the device may not be smoother like before. According to Tech Hive, users can encounter problems like bugs, security risk, sudden crashing of apps, random rebooting and bricking.

Ends The Warranty

Apple does not offer AppleCare technical assistance to jailbroken iPhones and iPad. It means if a buyer purchases a new iPhone or iPad and if jailbreaking is performed on it, the device will lose its warranty. Nevertheless, users can restore the stock version of the iOS on the iPhone or iPad and avail the AppleCare warranty service.

No Access To Official OTA Updates

Once an iPhone or iPad is jailbroken, it won’t be able to receive to over-the-air (OTA) updates like iOS 8.4 or higher from Apple. However, updates from Apple can be installed manually on a jailbroken device, but once the official update is installed, users will not be able to enjoy jailbreak tweaks.

No Access To Apple Music

One of the salient features of the iOS 8.4 update is that it will arrive with Apple Music, the new streaming music service from the Cupertino giant. Apple Music can only be used only when an iDevice users upgrades to iOS 8.4, reports Phone Arena.

Users who will continue to use the jailbroken iOS 8.3 with Cydia apps and tweaks will not be able to take advantage of the Apple Music service. However, there are many other popular streaming music services such as Spotify, Pandora and Rdio that users may listen to on jailbroken iOS 8.3.
