Transferring files to and from an iPhone using iTunes can be troublesome. Users will need to do more than just click on a file, drag it to the iTunes app, and drop it. Everyone who's tried this knows how much of a hassle it can be.

Thankfully, the good guys at iMobie recently released the latest version of the AnyTrans iPhone manager app. This app allows users to transfer, manage and back up files and content on their iPhones easily and from just one place. Here's a quick look at AnyTrans 8's new features, courtesy of Cult of Mac:

Improved look and performance

AnyTrans 8 is more intuitive and neater than its earlier versions. Now, users can manage the data on their iPhone, transfer files from one device to another, and back up data all in one easy-to-use interface.

What's more, AnyTrans 8 transfers data up to four times faster compared to older versions. This cuts back on time and minimizes the hassle.

Easy migrating

Thinking of migrating from Android to iOS and vice-versa? AnyTrans 8 makes migrating or moving files from one mobile OS to another easy. What's more, users can move their data to and from a source such as Google Drive, or from the cloud.

AnyTrans won't require users to manually download apps in order to do this. One simple click will allow users to move all their data from an old device into a new device, such as a new iPhone 11. Apps will retain their settings after the data transfer is complete, making for a seamless transition from an old phone to a new iPhone.

The app also allows users to delete all remaining content and settings on the old device. This will ensure privacy, especially if the old device will be passed on to another user or sold.

Screen mirroring

AnyTrans 8 has a new feature that allows users to use a computer screen to mirror what's shown on their iPhone. This feature can be used for presentations, or to share visual content with others. Mirrored content can also be recorded for future use.

Those who are interested in AnyTrans 8 can download it from iMobie's website.
