“Marvel’s Iron Fist” Season 2 only dropped on Netflix last week, but star Finn Jones is anxious to play Danny Rand again. The actor told International Business Times that he’d love to do more with the character.

“Of course, work is work. I’d love to work more. I’d love to do a second series of ‘The Defenders,’” Jones told IBT.

Last year’s “Defenders” was an eight-episode crossover for “Daredevil,” “Luke Cage,” “Jessica Jones” and “Iron Fist.” After completing their mission, the heroes went their separate ways, but a few characters have crossed over between the series since then. Jones made appearances in “Luke Cage” Season 2, and Misty Knight (Simone Missick) showed up in the new episodes of “Iron Fist.”

“The great thing about the crossovers is that it allows you to take your character on different stages,” Jones explained. “So the world that your character is inhabiting is a lot broader and a lot wider. And as an actor, that’s something that’s just really interesting and really imaginative and it just feels more rewarding and more fulfilling.”

It isn’t just the big crossover series he’d like to return for, though. “I’d love to do a series of ‘Heroes for Hire,’” he added.

Marvel Comics readers know that Heroes for Hire, Inc. is a business started by Danny Rand and Luke Cage. They function as private investigators and provide their clients with protection. The business is how Danny and Luke become best friends. Fans will have to wait and see if they get their own crossover series.

Already, audiences have noticed the two have a big influence over each other. When Danny visited Luke (Mike Colter), he helped him find his “flow,” and it seems like Luke has inspired Danny too. The Immortal Iron Fist and Rand heir is working for a moving company in the beginning of Season 2 to get to know his community, and “Luke Cage” viewers know that Power Man’s main focus is protecting his neighbors.

“I definitely think Luke has had a positive effect on Danny and made him see things from a different perspective for sure,” Jones told IBT.

Netflix and Marvel Television haven’t announced a “Heroes for Hire” spinoff yet. In the meantime, Jones hopes his solo series is renewed for Season 3. “I’d love to do a third series of ‘Iron Fist.’ I just want to keep working. Yeah, bring it on,” he said.

“Marvel’s Iron Fist” Season 2 is now available on Netflix.
