  • The outing came weeks after Kardashian's ex-husband Kanye West made antisemitic comments on social media

Ivanka Trump and Kim Kardashian reportedly met up for dinner in Beverly Hills, California, over the weekend.

The unlikely pair were photographed leaving The Polo Lounge, a posh restaurant at the Beverly Hills hotel, side-by-side after reportedly spending three hours dining together, Daily Mail reported.

Photos published by the outlet showed the 40-year-old daughter of former President Donald Trump sporting a beige pea coat, which was kept buttoned up to hide her outfit underneath, and a pair of open-toed heels.

The 42-year-old Skims founder, on the other hand, wore a leather jacket, a long black skirt and a pair of pumps for the outing.

Although Ivanka and Kardashian did not confirm if they dined together that night, they were seen exiting the celebrity hotspot together before parting ways and getting into separate vehicles.

The two moms have had occasional meetups over the years, including a chat during the 2014 Met Gala, and worked together on political matters when Ivanka's father was still in office.

Ivanka and Kardashian also sat next to each other during an event supporting the First Step Act, a bill that enacted several changes in prison reform back in 2019, and later interacted on Twitter to show support toward each other's advocacies, Page Six reported.

"Thank you @KimKardashian for your passionate advocacy of CJR (criminal justice reform) and Second Chance hiring!" Ivanka wrote in 2019, to which Kardashian responded, "Thank you @IvankaTrump for helping me to start this amazing journey of fighting for people who truly deserve a second chance!"

The rare outing came two weeks after Kardashian's ex-husband, Kanye West, sparked intense backlash after making antisemitic statements on social media.

In one tweet, the rapper stated that he was going to go "death con three on Jewish people," seemingly referring to the military's defense system called DEFCON.

He continued, "The funny thing is I actually can't be anti-Semitic because black people are actually Jew also. You guys have toyed with me and tried to blackball anyone whoever [sic] opposes your agenda."

Twitter and Instagram both have since restricted the accounts of the rapper-turned-designer. Several companies, including Balenciaga and JPMorgan Chase, have also cut ties with West after he doubled down on his remarks and refused to apologize.

But Ivanka, who converted to Judaism when she married Jared Kushner, did not seem to let the 45-year-old Yeezy founder's remarks get in between of her friendship with Kardashian.

Several hours after the dinner, Kardashian, who previously remained publicly silent regarding her ex-husband's controversial remarks, subtly slammed West on Twitter for his antisemitic comments without naming him.

"Hate speech is never OK or excusable. I stand together with the Jewish community and call on the terrible violence and hateful rhetoric towards them to come to an immediate end," the reality star wrote.

West also previously attacked Ivanka's husband on social media earlier this month, claiming that Kushner "held Trump back."

The rapper then claimed in an interview with Fox News' Tucker Carlson that Kushner only wanted to normalize relations between Israel and Arab countries to "make money" and slammed his brother, Joshua, for investing in Kim's Skims line.

Ivanka converted to Judaism before marrying Kushner, an Orthodox Jew, in 2009. Since then, the couple has been raising their three children, 11-year-old Arabella, 9-year-old Joseph Frederick and 6-year-old Theodore James, in the same faith.

All three children are enrolled in a local Jewish school in Miami, Florida, where the family relocated after Ivanka's father's term ended in 2021.
