Jennifer Aniston made a symbolic move that sealed her split with Brad Pitt.

Many believed that Pitt and Aniston were a perfect match until after they announced their split in 2005, five years after they got married. According to the couple’s friend Kristin Hahn, the “Cake” actress made a move that finally sealed her breakup with Pitt.

Hahn joined Pitt and Aniston in forming Bloc Productions which eventually became Plan B. When the couple decided to have a divorce, Aniston and Hahn left the company.

“It was so much harder to get our phone calls taken,” she said about their explerience with the company.

“Now actors are taken more seriously as producers. But when we started, even though Jen had been on a TV series for eight years, it was still a little like, ‘Oh, isn’t that cute.’”

Hahn revealed that when she and Aniston left the company they used to share with Pitt, “it was the symbolic equivalent of 'I’ll move out of the house.'” It was a move that sealed Aniston and Pitt’s split.

Aniston and Hahn went on to form Echo Films. They produced Aniston’s movies including “The Switch,” “Cake” and “Dumplin.” The company is also involved in Aniston’s upcoming TV series on Apple TV “The Morning Show” with Reese Witherspoon.

Last month, there were rumors that Pitt and Aniston were secretly meeting for their production company. The “Murder Mystery” star reportedly wanted to be involved with Pitt’s company again. Aniston wanted her and Pitt to produce a project together. A source said that she had been pitching books to her ex-husband that they could turn to movies. However, the report is unlikely true. Aniston’s rep said that there are no projects that she’s considering with Pitt.

There were also rumors claiming that Pitt and Aniston were getting serious. A source claimed that the exes have been seeing each other again since he attended her birthday in February. However, both never confirmed the rumors that they were back together.

Meanwhile, some believe that between Pitt and Justin Theroux, Aniston is more likely to get back with the latter. Aniston and Theroux had an amicable split. “The Leftovers” actor said that they had the “most gentle separation.”
