Jennifer Aniston is more than excited to return to television.

While speaking with Variety, the 47-year-old actress said that she has been thinking of returning to TV soon after she realized that that’s where the work is. However, Aniston doesn’t want to be part of just any series. “At this point in my career, I want to be part of wonderful stories, exciting characters and also just having a good time,” she said. The “We’re the Millers” actress went to say that she no longer has time for angry directors or bad behavior anymore.

Aniston, who started a career in the industry when she was just in her 20s, has had her fair share of bad experiences with the press. Throughout the years, the actress has been rumored to be pregnant. In July 2016, she finally decided to write an open letter to tabloids for publishing false pregnancy stories about her. Unfortunately, Aniston believes that this didn’t help change the culture.

“It’s definitely in people’s consciousness a lot more. But you’re always going to have the Piers Morgans of the world contradicting something that comes from the heart and saying, ‘You’re a hypocrite,’” she explained.

Most recently, Aniston’s name was dragged into Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s ongoing divorce case, with one publication claiming the “Maleficent” actress wants to talk to Aniston about her past relationship with her estranged husband. Since Jolie reportedly wants to prove that her estranged husband is drinking alcohol and using drugs, Aniston could be a good source for first-hand information. Unfortunately, the reports were never supported by any interviews, and Aniston, Jolie or Pitt never commented about this. The actress’ recent inclusion in such stories proves that she’s really a target among tabloids.
