Jennifer Garner was unable to contain her excitement after she received a surprise call from one of her biggest idols, Julie Andrews.

The mom of three shared a collage featuring 12 photos of how she reacted when she received the call from the “Sound of Music” legend.

In the first picture, Garner looks up to the ceiling while talking to Andrews. She also pulls her shirt in excitement. In the second picture, Garner rests her face inside her shirt, and in the third snap, she bends forward in excitement.

At one point, Ben Affleck’s ex-wife also stretches her long and slim legs, and she also lies down on the sofa before falling to the ground.

Last month, Garner spoke with Katie Couric and they both revealed that they were huge fans of the veteran actress. An in an attempt to surprise her friend, Couric asked Andrews if she could give Garner a call.

During their conversation, Andrews revealed that she’s also a fan of Garner. And when Couric suggested that they should hang out in person, both Andrews and Garner agreed to meet up.

Meanwhile, Garner also made headlines this week after she reunited with her ex-husband for Thanksgiving. The former couple was photographed with their three children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, on their way to the movies. Affleck’s mom also joined her former daughter-in-law and granddaughters during their outing.

Affleck and Garner have been divorced for years, but they make it a point to reunite for the sake of their children. They have celebrated important occasions and milestones together such as birthdays and Christmases even though they already have their own lives.

At present, Garner is dating John Miller, while Affleck is still single. He recently suffered a slip-up and was photographed drinking alcohol at a party after an entire year of being sober. But the actor vowed to get back on track as soon as possible.
