Jennifer Garner has simple advice for her children when it comes to beauty and aging.

The 50-year-old actress, who has long been an advocate of embracing natural beauty, revealed the beauty advice she would pass down to her two daughters with ex-husband Ben Affleck: Violet Anne, 16, and Seraphina Rose, 13. The former couple also shares son Samuel, 10.

"My beauty advice is always the same: Look in the mirror less, obsess less, and look at the rest of the world to see what you could be using your time for instead," Garner told Harper's Bazaar.

The "13 Going on 30" star noted that people nowadays look at their faces constantly and "obsess over changes or how to fix something." For her, this "doesn't do [anyone] any good."

"My advice is to look at the mirror less and be cautious when it comes to injecting anything into your face," she told the magazine. "Be very, very incredibly judicious and wait as absolutely long as possible to add anything. Don't think that you're 37 and you need to be shooting up your face. You don't need to wear so much makeup or have such a constant blowout."

Garner shared the same advice during an interview with Entertainment Tonight's Rachel Smith earlier this year.

At the time, the mom-of-three highlighted the importance of "look[ing] in the mirror less" and instead spending more time "looking out" and focusing on what one can do for other people.

"I swear it will make you feel prettier and make you feel better about yourself," Garner told ET.

But even though Garner doesn't spend too much time in the mirror, the actress still has a great daily hair routine.

"My day usually starts with a really hard workout," she told Harper's Bazaar. "Then, it gets all gross, so I have to wash it... I always do a mask over the weekend to treat my hair."

She said she finishes it up with a towel dry, a styling cream and an anti-frizz spray.

Several celebrities have expressed reservations about injectables over the years, including Jennifer Lopez — who married Garner's ex earlier this month.

Last year, Lopez clapped back at an Instagram critic who accused her of "definitely [having] Botox. And tons of it."

The singer replied: "LOL that's just my face!!! For the 500 millionth time…I have never done Botox or any injectables or surgery!!"
