  • Jennifer Lopez said her fiancé Alex Rodriguez adjusted to the pandemic well compared to her
  • The "On the Floor" singer said she missed being creative and running during the pandemic
  • Lopez admitted pushing back their wedding was a big deal because they planned it for months

Jennifer Lopez got candid about her life during the quarantine and wedding plans amid the pandemic.

Lopez spoke with Allure and shared her and Alex Rodriguez’s experiences during the lockdown. The "Maid in Manhattan" star admitted that she missed doing some activities and had a hard time adapting compared to her fiancé. She also mentioned getting therapy and said it helped their relationship.

"I miss being creative and running on 150," Lopez told Allure. "But Alex, of all people, was like, ‘I love it. I love being at home. I love doing my Zooms. I love knowing the kids are there, and you’re there all the time.’ It has been actually really good. We got to work on ourselves. We did therapy. I think it was really helpful for us in our relationship."

Lopez and Rodriguez were supposed to tie the knot last year. However, they were forced to push their wedding back because they were planning an overseas wedding and the COVID-19 restrictions made traveling difficult and gathering impossible.

"It was a big deal. We had been planning for months and months and months, and it was overseas," Lopez said. "Maybe that wasn’t the right time. You start thinking of all of these things — how everything has its kind of perfect, divine moment."

Lopez and Rodriguez had no concrete wedding date after canceling their big day. In a past interview, the former baseball superstar said they had to go with the flow adding that "everything is fluid now."

Lopez shared the same sentiment and admitted that they almost considered not getting married at all. In her previous interview, the "On the Floor" singer didn't hide her disappointment over their canceled wedding.

"It was really sad because we were supposed to get married in June and we had planned it all," Lopez said. "So in March or April, we're looking down the pipe and we're going, 'This is maybe not going to happen.' Italy's the worst place in the world. And we were going to get married in Italy. It was, yeah, it was like, I was like, 'OK, we got to cancel everything.’"

Just recently, Lopez's fiancé was romantically involved with "Southern Charm" star Madison LeCroy. She said they only spoke over the phone and had never been physical. Meanwhile, sources said Rodriguez doesn't know her. The issue also didn't affect the couple. They were even seen driving together in Florida when the rumors sparked.
