TLC viewers will be reunited with Duggar daughters Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard later this year in a series of network specials. But according to a report, one former “19 Kids and Counting” star is seeking a little more exposure.

In the wake of her brother Josh Duggar’s molestation and cheating scandals, Life & Style reports Jessa, 22, is looking to publicly denounce him and her parents in order to attract advertisers and secure her own spinoff. According to a report in the magazine’s Oct. 12 print issue, she’s “miserable” since the cancellation of her family’s hit reality series and is “willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen — even if it means throwing her family under the bus."

“The only way she’s even going to get her own full-time series is to condemn the behavior of her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle,” an insider said. Despite the family’s devout upbringing, the source claims Jessa is willing to do it if it means she can ensure a future for she and her husband, Ben Seewald.

While Jessa has not spoken out about her rumored plans, she has already publicly slammed one family member. Last month, in the wake of the discovery that Josh, 27, had been unfaithful to his wife, Anna Duggar, via the cheating site Ashley Madison, Jessa shared a blog post written by her father-in-law labeling her sibling as “pretender.” According to the magazine, Jessa’s father was “furious” about the post. While Jessa has since deleted the blog post, sources say this is just the beginning. “It’s going to get very ugly!” teased the insider.

Ugly, indeed! Jim Bob Duggar, 50, has a history if disapproving of his daughters securing their own spinoff. Jessa and Jill, 24, were rumored to be landing a shared series on TLC in May. The report surfaced after TLC canceled “19 Kids and Counting” following the discovery that Josh had molested five underage girls, including Jessa and Jill, when he was a teenager. Two months later, People magazine reported that Jim Bob had nixed TLC’s plans.

“He absolutely wanted to be back on TV and was never thrilled about the show suddenly shifting focus,” a source said.

It is worth noting the spinoff plans were also thwarted by Jill’s plans to go on an extended mission trip.

Jessa and Jill’s TLC specials will focus on their newlywed lives. Jessa’s installment will showcase her baby journey — she’s due to welcome her first child with Ben on Nov. 1. Jill’s special will follow her and husband, Derick Dillard, and their son, Israel David, on their overseas mission trip.
