Former vice president Joe Biden has continued to stay in the news after officially declaring that he was entering the 2020 presidential race in April 2019. Since then, Biden has not only received endorsements from former President Barack Obama and Senator Elizabeth Warren, but he has also been giving countless interviews as he navigates the campaign trail.

During a conversation with his granddaughter Finnegan Biden, which took place over Zoom, Joe and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, were asked if they had been watching any TV shows lately.

After being prompted, Jill, who is known as a lifelong educator, took the lead in responding. "Finnegan, this is hysterical," she began, adding, "Everybody's watching this 'Tiger King' show. So, I turned it on and we watched about 20 minutes. Pop looks at me, he said, 'What are we watching?'"

Continuing on the topic of the Netflix show, she then said, "I mean, it was, like, so crazy."

In addition to the Joe Exotic-led series, Jill said that she had also been watching the "Mrs. America" miniseries on Hulu, which focuses on the movement that was needed to pass the Equal Rights Amendment.

When describing the show, which stars Cate Blanchett, Rose Byrne, and Uzo Aduba, to her granddaughter, she said that the episodes revealed how hard women had to fight for equal rights, especially when she was growing up.

As for "Tiger King," the highly-discussed Netflix show was also recently featured on "Dateline." NBC correspondent Josh Mankiewicz called Exotic in prison and spoke about a range of topics, including why the one-time zoo operator had tried to enter the political field himself.

During the series of phone calls, Exotic told Mankiewicz that he had once wondered, "How do me and you ever get heard in this country without having to do something stupid, like blow something up, or whatever?" which prompted his entry into the world of politics.
