JoJo Siwa's ex-girlfriend Avery Cyrus broke her silence after the former "Dance Moms" star claimed she just used her for clout.

The 22-year-old TikTok creator spoke out on the issue Tuesday by releasing a statement to E! News, saying she's "saddened and confused" by what happened between them.

"I'm still very hurt that JoJo broke up with me. And I'm saddened and confused by the situation," Cyrus said.

She also explained to the entertainment news outlet that they broke up amicably and was under the impression that they were still friends after the split.

"From my perspective, me and JoJo left on great terms and are still friends. The relationship was very real, and I have nothing but love for JoJo and her family," she said.

A day prior, Siwa seemingly suggested that her ex just "used" her for "clout," and she was angry because she got "played."

In a video shared by Siwa's mom, Jessalynn Siwa, via Instagram Stories, the 19-year-old YouTuber could be heard ranting after getting asked why she was "mad."

"Because I got used, for views and for clout," Siwa said in the clip before noting that she "got tricked into being told I was loved, and I got f—king played."

The Nickelodeon alum did not mention Cyrus in the video, but the revelation came on the heels of their shocking breakup after three months of dating.

Over the weekend, Cyrus confirmed that she and Siwa had called it quits when she shared a clip from their tropical getaway.

In the video, the TV and social media personality could be seen telling Cyrus, "This is my sorry for breaking up with you present."

When a fan asked about Siwa's statement in the comments section, Cyrus responded by saying that they realized they were better off as friends.

"We decided that we are better off as friends. We are both so young and still just trying to figure our stuff out," she wrote.

Siwa and Cyrus first sparked romance rumors after filming a TikTok video together in August. The following month, they seemingly confirmed their relationship when they shared a snap of them sharing a kiss inside a Chuck E. Cheese photo booth.
